H. Jeff Ward, O.D., F.I.O.A., Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry
Dr. Ward is a long-time Colorado resident and his practice is conveniently located in Highlands Ranch. While he spends most of his time performing general optometry, he also specializes in Corneal Reshaping (contacts you wear while sleeping, remove in the morning, and then see clearly all day long) and difficult contact lens fits (keratoconus, pellucid marginal degeneration, post-refractive surgery, etc.). Other areas of emphasis include Computer Vision Syndrome and Bifocal Contact Lens fits.

Specifically, Dr. Ward graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Phi Beta Kappa and with Departmental Honors from Northwestern University. He received his doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston. There he graduated Summa Cum Laude and Beta Sigma Kappa (Honorary Society for Optometry). Finally, he completed a prestigious residency in Corneal Pathology & Contact Lenses at the New England College of Optometry. Some of his rotations included Harvard University’s Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary, The Scleral Lens Foundation, Cornea Consultants of Boston, and The New England Eye Institute. He received the Arthur R. Giroux Residency Research Award for his innovative dry eye research study.
